'Kusina Nova' means Nova's Kitchen.

Born and raised in the Philippines, Novavita Manabat was exposed at an early age to traditional Filipino food that was itself influenced by the Spanish for hundreds of years and other South East Asian cuisines.

After moving to London in her early twenties, inspired by her memories of her grandmothers and aunts cooking back home, and also by Western cuisine, she began to teach her self the skills and techniques of gourmet cooking.

She then began working privately for families, cooking family meals that were Western in origin but also influenced by her Fillipino background, and for some time help ran a small boutique hotel on the Isle of Wight, cooking, serving and creating recipes with the help of traditional English chefs.

Now revealing her skills to the public through Londons exciting street food scene, Kusina Nova brings you gourmet Filipino recipes infused with Western cuisine to create sumptious, colourful, delicious and exciting foods fit for royalty.
